It seems like every day brings more good news of Downtown bars and restaurants that are once again welcoming in-person visitors. Case in point: the glorious return of Schilling and its signature menu of Austrian classics with a Mediterranean flair.
Schilling has previously been open for takeout and delivery, but is now open with a revamped dine-in menu as well, including chef Eduard Frauneder’s seasonal, intriguing asparagus schnitzel it’s healthy because it’s vegetables!), some rich kaesekrainer sausage (to cancel out the asparagus) and a classic rendition of a more traditional wiener schnitzel, replete with cucumber dill salad, potato salad and lingonberry.
